Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Bilborough to work full time (working from home 3 days a week). The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £33.85 - £33.86 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Providing advice and guidance on the use of standard catalogue equipment, refurbished non-catalogue equipment and minor adaptations
- Learning about the catalogue and specials equipment to become an equipment expert
- Overseeing orders
- Assisting with and potentially delivering equipment training to Prescribers
- Assisting with the on-going management of the equipment catalogue
- Helping to problem solve complex situations
- Support the ICELS Partnership in implementing ICELS targets and objectives and achieve cost efficiencies
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Car driver
