Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Hackney on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.
Duties:
- Identify statutory needs
- Make arrangements for a number of solutions such equipment, minor adaptations and major adaptations
- Give advice and refer to other services as needed
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Experience with carrying assessments under the Care Act 2014 and Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996
- Ability to carry out moving and handling assessments
