Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Occupational Health Advisor to work full-time in Hounslow. The pay rate for this Occupational Health Advisor job is £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
The Role
Currently recruiting for a qualified full time Occupational Health Advisor with case management experience to join us in delivering an occupational health service to our client at Heathrow Airport. You will need to be a team player who can alongside experts and industry professionals to bring success to this contract and the company, receiving all the support you need from our senior management team to deliver a first-class service.
Reporting to the OH Manager you will provide appropriate expert, effective and practical advice, considering legislative requirements and best practice relating to Occupational Health, including providing health surveillance in accordance with current legislation. You will assess new clients who present themselves to Occupational Health whether in person or by written referral ensuring they are fit to work in the role they are employed to do. Additionally, you will write letters to GP's & Specialists, maintaining appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping and responding to clients and managers requests for additional information or support relating to the working environment.
The Person
To be successful in the role we are looking for a self-motivated team player who is also comfortable working independently. You will ideally be Part 3 registered and hold an OH qualification, have excellent report writing skills and previous experience of case management and Health screening or surveillance. Strong communication skills are essential, and you need to be IT literate. It is essential that you can always maintain strict confidentiality
Requirements of the Occupational Health Advisor:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
