Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist Team Manager to work in Medway on a full-time/part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £31.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.

Purpose:

  • To contribute to the delivery of highly effective occupational therapy within Adult Social Care. The service is delivered using a strength-based and personalised approach.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Significant experience of community Occupational Therapy work
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards and procedures relating to Adult Social Care
  • Proven ability to take responsibility for managing a case load and developing skills to manage work.
  • Demonstrable experience of ICT skills and recording of accurate information

  • Must be able to travel independently throughout Medway
  • Demonstrable ability to use appropriate theoretical / practical / procedural / organisational / policy knowledge across a specialist area and has detailed knowledge of organisational policies, practices or procedures.
