Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber work full-time based in Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance Misuse Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Non-Medical Prescriber role is negotiable and this role is on an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- Assess, diagnose, plan; implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for service users
- Clinically assess service user needs and plan clinical care accordingly
- Diagnose and manage on an individual need's basis, integrating both drug and nondrug based treatment methods into a management plan, in conjunction with the Recovery Coordinator
- Provide information and advice on prescribed, illicit and over-the-counter medication, including side-effects and interactions
- Assess, identify and refer patients presenting with mental health needs
Requirements of the Non-Medical Prescriber:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing/NMP
- Current NMC registration
- Significant experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber
