Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber work full-time based in Lincoln. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Substance Misuse Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Non-Medical Prescriber role negotiable with the client and is an intial 4-month contract.
Duties:
- To drive the improvement of the health and wellbeing of the clients accessing the Wokingham Recovery Service
- To deliver best-practice clinical interventions, including independent prescribing of opiate substitute medication, providing support to clients in stabilisation and reduction regimes and delivery of community alcohol detoxification
- To focus on reducing the harm caused by alcohol and drug misuse, including health and wellbeing screening and BBV dry blood spot testing and vaccinations
- To work on new initiatives to deliver improved health and wellbeing outcomes working within a best practice clinical governance framework and to provide clinical support to the team as required in a timely manner
Requirements of the Non-Medical Prescriber:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing/NMP
- Current NMC registration
- Significant experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber
