Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Newly Qualified Social Worker to work from home for an Adults Neighbourhood Team which is based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Newly Qualified Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
As post holder you will complete assessments for continuing health care eligibility and attending MDTs. You must have knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding and assessment and support planning, including financial arrangements for residential placements.
You will mainly be working from home but will be visiting clients and attending MDTS. Currently these are being held virtually.
Requirements of the Newly Qualified Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
