Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Missing Persons and CSE Co-ordinator to work full-time in Maidenhead. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The pay rate for this locum Co-ordinator role is negotiable (Assignment rate).

Duties:

  • To act as point of contact for the workforce on matters of missing children/young people and child exploitation.
  • To support agencies in their responses to missing children/young people and child exploitation in accordance with the CE strategy, Berkshire wide and local procedures.
  • To support the organisation in their response to radicalisation through strategy building and organisational procedures while linking across Berkshire where appropriate.
  • To develop and maintain the dataset on child exploitation and provide quarterly reports for the performance board. Contributing to the promotion of better understanding of the nature of child exploitation by analysing local data
  • To attend and effectively contribute to the local and Berkshire wide multi-agency practice and planning meetings and discussions, sharing information, learning and intelligence to inform good practice.
  • To contribute to local need assessments (JSNA) in respect of children and young people at risk of/ being harmed via child exploitation in conjunction with partners.

Requirements of the Co-ordinator:

  • Qualification to a minimum of NVQ Level 4
  • In a child related area of practice.
  • Understanding of the requirements of national guidance in relation to child sexual and other forms of exploitation.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to analyse complex information from a variety of sources and prioritise its importance.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports to agreed timescales.
  • Ability to challenge current practice to successfully overcome barriers to support an effective approach to child exploitation.
  • Hold a driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the post.
