Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Microbiology Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Gibraltar. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £27,731 Salary Per Annum (Assignment rate) and is a 12- month fixed contract.

Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- Post qualifying experience within a similar role
- At least 2 years' experience in molecular biology.
- Experience with LAMP assays and methodology.
- Experience working in a diagnostic microbiology laboratory setting for the NHS, Public Health England (PHE) or Animal Plant Health Agency (APHA).
- Experience in working at Biosafety Level 2 Cabinet (BSL 2).
