Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Social Worker / Approved Mental Health Professional to work full time within a Recovery Team based in Ealing. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To provide professional social work services to clients with mental health needs.
- To assess and support carers and to incorporate these assessments into individual care plans.
- To provide assessments and care to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs.
- To participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to these. To partake in the duty rota, assessment rota and other tasks as directed by the Lead Practitioner.
- To undertake preventative and supportive work with individuals and families living within the community.
- To have knowledge of local resources and provide a casework service for clients in the department's care or referred by outside agencies using a recovery focused model.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services.
