Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner/Care co-ordinator to fill a full-time role based in Harrow and Hillingdon. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Mental Health Practitioner job is £25 - £26.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- Support the development of EIS services within the Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and to provide an intensive outreach service to young people aged between 14 and 35, and their families, who have experienced a first episode of any psychotic illness and to work with them over 3 years.
- To be a senior member of the team and help provide a range of evidence-based interventions to help promote recovery.
- The post holder will be required to work within the multi-disciplinary team and provide an individualised and holistic care package to users and their network.
Requirements of the Mental Health Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent mental health nursing experience working as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner
