Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to work part-time in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Mental Health Practitioner job is £23.74 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract. The post shifts consist of working 3 days/22.5 hours per week.
Duties:
Undertake the planning and delivery of direct patient care with appropriate supervision, ensuring continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary and multiagency environment.
Managing a caseload and the provision of Mental Health Care services to people with mental health care needs.
Support and advising to other health care professionals. To support aspects of service development.
Provide an appropriate learning environment for relevant UEA students.
To be responsible for accurate mental health clustering of all patients on admission, discharge and at review.
To ensure all mental health clustering information is passed onto other Trust teams or services on the transfer of patients.
To ensure the accuracy and quality of mental health clustering activity within the team.
Requirements of the Mental Health Practitioner:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical
Psychology or equivalent
