Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role based in Worcester and Redditch as a Liason Clinician. The pay rate for this Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £25-£37 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients.
- Operate as part of a multidisciplinary team providing Liaison Services to Acute Hospitals countywide for people of any age.
- Proactively engage in formal and informal education of Acute Trust staff and other partnership agencies as well as appropriate students.
- Practice within the relevant professional code of practice/conduct.
- Actively and creatively engage patients and carers encouraging them to make appropriate use of the mental health and voluntary services available as part of a process of recovery and crisis management.
- Respond to all referrals in a timely manner in line with team procedure and targets.
- Undertake initial screening of all mental health referrals determining the level of risk and clinical need implementing the correct pathway/response.
- Undertake full psycho-social assessments with those in need of such.
- Ensuring thorough, precise and timely documentation and dissemination of information in line with Trust policy and procedure
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin.
