Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse (female) to work on the Sheridan Ward based in Huyton.

The pay rate for this locum Mental Health Nurse is £20-£34 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 2-month ongoing contract.

This is a Sunday to Monday role working 7.5 hours daily or nights.

Pay Rates:

  • Day shifts: £20-£21 per hour.
  • Night/Saturday shifts: £26-£27 per hour.
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday shifts: £33-£34 per hour.

Main Duties:

  • Administration of medications.
  • Participating in ward round/MDT reviews.
  • Completion of daily clinical tasks and liaising with external agencies.
  • Completion of CPA documentation and risk assessments.
  • Completion of 1-1 named nurse sessions/duties.

Requirements of the Mental Health Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent within Nursing (RMN trained).
  • NMC registration and a valid live pin.
  • Recent UK Nursing experience.
