Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Medical Lab Assistant (Covid Samples) to work in Manchester.
The pay rate for this locum Medical Lab Assistant job is £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 2-month contract.
Duties:
- Perform clerical, technical and scientific work relating to the laboratory in a professional and competent manner
- Communicate information only to those people who have a right and need to know it
- Organise own day to day routine work tasks or activities under the delegation of Pathology Manager, observing personal duty of care at all times
- Demonstrates own activities or workplace routines to new or less experienced employees
Requirements of the Medical Lab Assistant:
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role
- Understands a range of routine and non-routine work procedures, requiring base level practical and keyboard skills
- HCPC registration
