Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to work within Psychosis Recovery Teams in Camberwell.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Nurse (CPN) job is £24.26-27 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Assess the physical and mental well-being needs, plan, implement, evaluate and monitor care in collaboration with the service user, carers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Implement care that meets the mental, physical, spiritual, psychological and social needs of the service user, and that is sensitive to age, culture, race, gender, ethnicity, social class, sexuality and disability
- Administer medication and have the knowledge of contraindications (both physical and mentally) and side effects, and relating accurate information to service users in a format they are able to understand
- Ensure appropriate and up to date Risk assessments and care plans are available for service users attending the clinic
Requirements of the Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent UK Nursing experience
