Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Band 6 Malnutrition Dietitian to work based in Greenwich.
The pay rate for this locum Malnutrition Dietitian job is £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Malnutrition Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent within Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC registered as a Dietitian
- Post qualification experience as a Dietitian
- Experience in Nutrition Support
- Experience in working with clients with Home enteral feeding
- Experience in working with clients with complex needs
- Experience in student training
- Experience in supervising junior members of staff and students
- Experience of multi-disciplinary and inter- agency working
- Experience in motivating and counselling clients
- Experience in presenting to groups including health professionals and service users
- Experience of Audit and Research
- Excellent knowledge of Clinical Dietetics
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills
- Self- motivated and able to prioritise own workload
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of the use of Nutrition Screening Tools
- Ability to assess and educate individuals requiring nutritional support
- Awareness of the issues faced by people with a life threatening illness
- Effective interpersonal skills (including the ability to negotiate)
- Computer literacy- familiarity with dietary analysis programs, word processing, database management
- Ability to apply the issues related to cultural diversity practically
- Knowledge of Nutrition Support Products
