Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available
- Part-time: 10 hours per week (5 hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Pay Rates:
- PAYE: £16.93 per hour
- Umbrella: £22.05 per hour
Overview
Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a committed and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Lecturer to join an education provider in Ilford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-standard education both in the classroom and through online platforms across the county.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and delivery of engaging learning programmes.

Take part in recruitment and enrolment activity, including preparing course content and advising potential learners.

Offer advice and guidance regarding course options and wider education or employment pathways.

Carry out initial assessments and work collaboratively with learners to create individual learning and development plans.

Support curriculum development by producing and updating teaching resources and materials.

Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual needs, embedding core topics like English, maths, safeguarding, equality, and sustainability.

Deliver high-quality sessions using a range of teaching approaches, including online methods.

Provide additional or personalised support where required, especially for learners with extra needs.

Track learner progress through regular assessments and provide feedback.

Prepare students for examinations and final assessments, maintaining a focus on positive outcomes.
Requirements

A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. DTLLS, CertEd or equivalent)

A relevant qualification in the subject area – must be at least NVQ Level 3 or above and ideally one level higher than the content being taught

Experience in teaching post-16 or adult learners

A background in supporting students with additional needs or those who present challenging behaviour
