Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Learning Disability Nurse to work full-time based in Kettering. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Learning Disability Nurse role is £28 - £29 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is a 3-month contract. Working 8am - 8pm.
Summary:
- The post holder will need to carry out physical health checks, blood test and male and female screening. Part of the job involving visiting patients in the community for the purpose of carrying out the physical health check.
Requirements of the Community Learning Disability Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- S1 and SC required.
