Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to work based in Cullompton.

The salary for this permanent Lead Occupational Therapist job is £44,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Manage a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning and facilitating group sessions, implement 1-1 interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to service users care plans.
  • Lead, support and supervise the occupational health team and be responsible for monitoring budgets, resource purchases, overseeing the recruitment and induction process, and will be requested to design and deliver training.
  • Create individual rapports to design and deliver facilitated evidence-based group and individual programmes based on their needs and interest.
  • Completing assessments, planning sessions and implementing interventions.
  • Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery.
  • The provision of highly specialist one-to-one clinical consultations to other clinical staff.
  • Contribute to the requirements of CPD provision and support the learning of multidisciplinary staff team at all levels of expertise.

Requirements of the Lead Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Experience in working within a mental health setting.
  • Occupational Therapy assessment processes and report writing.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy.
