Sanctuary Social Care is looking for an experienced and dedicated Independent Reviewing Officer / Child Protection Chair to work full-time in Windsor & Maidenhead. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Independent Reviewing Officer job is £46,893 - £51,283 per annum.
About the role:
- Independent Reviewing Officers; ensuring that the local authority is meeting is statutory requirements in relation to Children Looked After
- Child Protection Conference Chairs; monitoring the quality and effectiveness of child protection plans and processes
Requirements of the Independent Reviewing Officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant experience within a similar role
- Previous management experience
- Demonstrate excellent presentation skills using knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Child Protection and Children
- Evidence significant post qualifying training demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development
