Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Interim Service Manager to work full-time within an Adults Learning Disabilities Service based in Bradford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Interim Service Manager job is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Summary:
- To be responsible for the effective management of the Learning Disabilities Service across the Locality Teams, working across all four localities and the Liberty Protection Safeguards Service. Ensuring that the provision achieves good outcomes for adults with learning disabilities who have longer term needs and all adults who lack capacity to consent to care and residency arrangements
- Ensure high quality safeguarding practices and policies are in place and fully implemented.
- To provide visible leadership to a service that seeks to continuously improve outcomes for adults with learning disabilities who have longer term needs and all adults who lack capacity to consent to care and residency arrangements.
- To ensure that statutory requirements and national and local policy and procedures in relation to the provision of adult social care, including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards/Liberty Protection Safeguards are adhered to at all times and manage social care resources efficiently and effectively, prioritising need and working cooperatively within the Service Management Team.
Requirements of the Interim Service Manager:
- Ideal candidate will have experience management experience
- Must be Qualified Social worker and registered with the HCPC
- Must have at least 5 years experience of management across health and social care settings.
