Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experience Interim Public Health Specialist to work based in Sutton.
The pay rate for this full-time locum Interim Public Health Specialist job is £550 per day (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Leading key areas of work including the coronavirus testing programme and COVID-19 work with schools, but will be required to change topics or work across portfolio areas in line with the needs of the business whilst maintaining generic public health skills as necessary
- Adapt rapidly to shifting demands and priorities, and needs to be flexible and adaptable, with a high level of professional credibility
- Work independently without the need for substantial supervision
- Be practical and delivery focused and able to deliver projects and programmes on time and on budget
- Able to communicate clearly and use their advanced knowledge and skills in a wide range of core public health and health promotion competencies to lead and support the strategic development, delivery and evaluation of public health programmes and services
- Critically appraise complex information from a range of sources; make recommendations and implement actions, based on a sound and thorough understanding and analysis of the evidence base, information and data
Requirements of the Interim Public Health Specialist:
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Recent experience working within a similar role
