Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Interim Public Health Practitioner to work full-time within Adult's Services in Sutton.
The pay rate for this locum Public Health Practitioner job is £300 per day (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Summary:
- To support the ongoing and increasing COVID-19 work, particularly around high-risk settings, including delivering our Outbreak Control Plan, monitoring outbreaks, advising and responding to queries and delivering core services to reduce health inequalities and healthcare issues derived from COVID-19 measures.
- To provide additional support and resilience to the Public Health team particularly relating to COVID-19, to support the delivery of the Local Outbreak Control Plan.
- The role will provide support to the Public Health Team, the Council and partnership organisations particularly around positive cases and outbreaks in care homes, schools and other high-risk settings, data analysis and monitoring.
- Working within LBS Civic Offices, However working mostly based from home.
Requirements of the Public health Practitioner
- Awareness of Public Health approaches and population health challenges
- Experience of working in local government
- Proven experience of project management approaches
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve problems as they arise.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- High standard of report writing skills,
- At all times respects confidentiality and the dignity of others.
- Demonstrates a strong desire to improve performance and make a difference by focusing on goals
