Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8b Inpatient Service Manager (RMN) to work full-time based in Enfield. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Inpatient Service Manager role is £34.67 - £40.77 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-6 month contract.
Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will provide operational management and leadership to a defined group of services within a geographical patch. To be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivery of services including the management of all staff and related budgets.
- Develop services in the borough in partnership with commissioners, other statutory agencies, the independent sector, service users and carers. To ensure the delivery of high standards of care and to maximise the use of available resources, meeting financial and other corporate targets.
- Be a member of the Operational Management Group, and contribute to the strategic development of services within the borough.
- Assist in facilitating health and social care authorities and professionals to work in partnership at all times, and to ensure that the values and ethos of social care, as well as of the NHS, are embedded within the organisation.
- Support the Senior Service Lead of Adult Acute Services in the strategic development of services in Enfield.
Requirements of the Inpatient Service Manager:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Must have recent Mental health nursing experience and have operational experience
