Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Hospital Liaison Substance Misuse Worker to work full-time in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.
The salary for this permanent Substance Misuse Worker job is £22,353-£27,275 per annum.
The service is available 7 days a week between 8am and 8pm, therefore you must be prepared to work on a rota basis.

Requirements of the Substance Misuse Worker:
- The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification or degree in a related subject e.g. Social Work and have knowledge of substances and their effects
- The successful candidate must be able to engage people with substance misuse problems to enter treatment services, through providing advice, an assessment of need and brief interventions and making an onward referral to specialist services.
- Experience of undertaking assessments of need and risk, providing harm reduction advice and brief interventions are essential.
