Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Health Protection Advisor to work full-time based in Sandwell.
The pay rate for this locum Health Protection Advisor job is £21.13 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Health Protection Advisor:
- Background in health protection and with an education to Masters in Public Health (MPH) level, or equivalent experience
- Experience of outbreak investigations is crucial.
- Outbreak management, infection prevention and control, emergency planning, and responding to emerging and re-emerging threats.
- At least two years' experience working in health protection
- Experience of dealing with external stakeholders including NHS, and voluntary sector
- The ability to grasp concepts and translate them into simple and clear messages that are easy to understand
- The ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions.
- Ability to investigate and manage/support a full range of incidents including outbreaks of disease
- Leadership and people management
