Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Health and Wellbeing Nurse to fill a full-time role in Tunbridge Wells. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Health and Wellbeing Nurse role is £23 per hour (Ltd Company Equivalent) and this role is an initial 6-week contract.
Duties:
- Work within and consolidate integrated care and treatment pathways for individuals who are infected with Hep B and Hep C and will provide testing and onward referrals for HIV.
- Provide screening and vaccinations for blood borne viruses, alongside other clinical and psychosocial interventions.
- Adhere to patient group directions and ensure requirements on updating are maintained.
Requirements of the Health and Wellbeing Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- 2 years substance misuse nurse experience
