The salary for this permanent Health and Wellbeing Nurse Practitioner role is £28,050 - £34,156 per annum.
Duties:
- Be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team offering specialist clinical interventions to a cohort of service users
- Undertake health and wellbeing assessments for all opiate service users and users of other drugs when indicated by the clinical lead
- Undertake nurse alcohol assessments for all alcohol service users as indicated by the CGL Alcohol Policy, using results to determine safe detoxification as required
- Provide titration for opiate service users as part of the health and wellbeing clinics
- Provide screening for blood-borne viruses (BBV), through dry blood spot testing
Requirements of the Health and Wellbeing Nurse Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Nursing
- Current NMC registration
- UK Experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Nurse Practitioner
