Sanctuary Criminal Justice has a job vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Health and Wellbeing Nurse to work full-time based in West Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The oay rate for this Health and Wellbeing Nurse role is £22 per hour (Assignment rate).
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Undertake Health & Wellbeing Assessments for all opiate service users of other drugs when indicated by clinical lead.
- Undertake Nurse Alcohol assessments for all alcohol service users.
- Provide titration for opiate service users as part of the health and wellbeing clinic to ensure the service user achieves an optimum dose of OST.
- Provide screening for blood borne viruses through dry blood spot testing.
Requirements of the Health and Wellbeing Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration
- UK Nursing experience
- Registered Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing
- Relevant recent experience of working within drug and alcohol treatment.
