Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Therapies to work within a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Taplow on a full-time basis.

The salary for this permanent Head of Therapies job is £55,165 to £62,127 per annum.

Duties:

  • The post holder will be ultimately accountable for all Allied Health Professional Therapists and Therapy Support Staff and will directly manage the Psychology, Family Therapy, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Creative Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams

  • The post-holder is responsible for the strategic and professional direction of Therapy Services. This involves delivery of all operational performance targets, ensuring all services are provided within the agreed level of activity, standards of performance, safety, quality and budget.

  • The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing standards across Therapy Services within HHM which support professional leadership, competence, capacity and standards of conduct.

  • Working with senior management, the post holder will define and implement new ways of working to maximise the benefits to deliver gains in cost and clinical effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements of the Head of Therapies:

  • Be a therapist with current HCPC or professional registration
  • Experience of working in a clinical or management position in mental health
  • Evidence of an extensive understanding of mental health
  • Understanding and experience of managing or supporting therapists in chose profession
  • Ability to work across the group sites and services
