Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for a Head of Service to work within Children's Safeguarding in Gloucestershire on a full-time basis.
The pay rate for this locum job is £550 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Purpose:
This role will lead strategic developments and operational services designed to secure good outcomes and impact for some of the most vulnerable residents of Gloucestershire. As a member of the Children's Safeguarding and Care Operational Leadership Team specifically, this role will be responsible for ensuring that work is undertaken to achieve the council's strategic and service outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
The post holder will lead a range of staff and teams as may be assigned at any one time, ensuring that they are able to respond and adapt to the strategic commissioning and improvement agenda whilst achieving value for money, meeting community needs and securing high quality customer service.
Requirements:
Relevant leadership/management qualification
Appropriate professional Social Work qualification
Educated to at least degree level
Experience within a similar role
