Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Clinical Services to work full-time based in Ashtead. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Head of Clinical Services is £75,000 per annum and is on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Assist as necessary with activities of daily living including personal care/therapy, social, emotional, and recreational needs and aspirations
- Provide effective monitoring and management of the clinical services
- Lead clinically based projects
Requirements of the Head of Clinical Services:
- Strong clinical background in acute surgical/medical care
- Active NMC Registration
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character with a flexible and positive attitude
- Ability to make decisions, use your initiative and have excellent communication skills
- Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding in what can be an emotionally challenging environment
- Exposure in a senior clinical role to external stakeholders such as Consultants and the health care community
- Demonstrable departmental and people management knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience in clinical governance, development and administration of budgets, management reports and supply contracts
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legal and professional care/practice standards
- Effective presentation and IT (Microsoft office) skills
- A proven track record of leadership and be able to manage a team, ensuring that the Hospital complies with CQC requirements
