Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 7 Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role based in Orkney Islands, Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £35 - £40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a contract from 30/11/2020 - 31/03/2021.
About the role:
- The post is working 37.5 hours per week, 0900-1730 with some on-call.
- This post will also be dealing with COVID PCE testing.
- Accommodation will be provided and also reimburse travel expenses within the UK up to a max of £500. Please note accommodation may be a single bedroom, in a property shared with another locum.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- 2 years' experience
- Experienced Haematology/Transfusion locum, preferably with some Biochemistry skills
