Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role based in Chesterfield.
The pay rate for this locum Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist job is £25 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Specialist Portfolio in Haematology & Transfusion or relevant experience
- Able to perform some elements of BMS role in Haematology and transfusion
- Previous use of Systmex XN9000, CS5100 and/or IH1000 analysers and to be experienced in Morphology
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Morphology, blood grouping and antibody ID, result authorisation, reviewing IQC, troubleshooting equipment, team work
