Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Response based in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £28,221 to £34,106 per annum, plus £3000 recruitment payment (Subject to criteria).
We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to work within the Response Team. Under the supervision of the Team Manager, you will be able to effectively manage risk where there is risk of, or actual, significant harm to children to ensure that children are kept safe and protected from abuse. Social Workers skilled in Referral and Assessment, Front Door or MASH work are being sought.
Working in a multi-agency context, you will ensure vulnerable children and young people are identified, protected and supported to achieve positive outcomes. Assessing and identifying the needs and risks of children and young people, working with range of other agencies and disciplines to ensure that an effective prompt holistic service response is provided to children young people and their families, particularly to those at risk of significant harm.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current HCPC registration
A minimum of 2 years post qualifying UK experience
Recognised and relevant professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Significant post qualification experience in a Local Authority child protection children's services setting.
You must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle, insured for business use.
Successfully fully completed your ASYE
