Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a Female complex needs team based in Trafford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent social worker job is £21,994 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a permanent contract.
Our Without Walls service needs to support men and women with learning disabilities, some of whom require personal care. Female users of the service can only receive personal care from female workers, and for this reason this specific vacancy is only open to female applicants.
Duties:
- Supporting men and women with learning disabilities, who will require personal care. You will be working with a specialist team providing high quality 2:1 care and support to service users in the community, in accordance with each support plan and comprehensive risk assessment.
Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
- Full UK Driving licence and the ability to complete MIDAS training in order to drive a work vehicle
- The ability to complete and work according to specialist training designed to de-escalate and manage challenging behaviour.
