Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Family Therapist to work 37.5 hours per week based in Waterlooville, within the CAMHS Service.
The salary for this permanent Family Therapist job is £50,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Help young people build a brighter future
- Supporting young people aged 12-17 with eating disorders
- Carry a complex caseload that will involve supporting young people and children with an eating disorder, this will see you act as an internal care coordinator to families, providing guidance and consultations
- Run therapeutic groups for the young people on the wards
- Influence the therapeutic milieu on the ward by offering ‘reflective practice’ sessions and training with the nursing staff/healthcare assistants
Requirements of the Family Therapist:
- MSc/Post Graduate Diploma in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy
- Registration with UKCP
- A background of working in the NHS or private sector, you will have experience in supporting young people and their families, who have a history of unsuccessful treatments to engage in innovative interventions to create meaningful change
- Post qualifying experience working as a Family Therapist
- Substantial CAMHS experience
- Understand it is each person’s individual responsibility and are committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service users
- Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure
