Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Executive support Assistant to work with Hackney council. This is a full-time position, and we are paying £21.31 Paye and £27.12 Umbrella per hour for this role.
The role:
to provide reliable, confidential, and proactive administrative support to two Directors of ICT at Hackney Council. The successful candidate will be expected to cover the following duties: extensive diary and inbox management; taking accurate meeting notes; acting as a key interface between the Directors and internal and external stakeholders; and to work collaboratively with the wider Executive Support Team, providing cover for colleagues, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Director(s) diary including arranging meetings, preparing, and dispatching agendas, minutes, and other documents as necessary, ensuring that the Director(s) time is utilised efficiently, and they are fully briefed and prepared for each meeting and for the week ahead.
● Attending meetings and taking accurate, concise meeting notes with actions clearly defined and ensuring that actions are followed up, as necessary.
● Booking rooms, organising tele/video conferences, and ordering refreshments as required.
● To act on the authority of the Director(s) in response to enquiries from senior managers, chief officers, and Members, ensuring that issues are resolved satisfactorily and within a reasonable timeframe.
● Suggesting new ways of doing things and taking a proactive approach to understanding, and getting involved with, the wider strategic objectives of the Director and their division.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience. - Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 36 hours p/w.
