Innovate Services are offering a unique opportunity for educational psychologists in Lancashire to work on an exciting new project. We are seeking a part-time Educational Psychologist (0.5fte) to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in this new and exciting initiative.

Depending on experience, you will receive a salary between £48,383 - £53,488 per annum (pro-rata). The successful educational psychologist will receive a holiday allowance of 28 days per year excluding Bank Holidays (pro-rata).

The successful candidate will support a new provision that works with a small group of children in care, to provide assessments, interventions and deliver outreach support.

This post is not your typical or traditional EP position, as your time will be wholly dedicated to a small group of between 4 to 8 children and young people who have had experience of accessing the care sector.

As an EP with Innovate Services you will be expected to demonstrate flexibility, dedication, and a team ethos. You will promote the healthy emotional development and learning of children and young people through the application of psychology, by working with and on behalf of individual and a small group of children, with teachers and other adults in schools, with families, social care professionals, other professionals and agencies.

We are seeking a dynamic EP who has interest and experience working with children in care to contribute to the development of this new provision and to the achievement of successful outcomes for this small cohort of children / young people. An understanding of trauma informed, and attachment aware approaches will be essential for this work.
