Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to work part-time/full-time based in Chessington, Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £30 - £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
3 days per week until the end of June/July 2021 (potential for 5 days per week up to end of December 2020)
Duties:
- Provide support to under 5's with neurodevelopmental needs in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Therapy/assessment will take place both in a clinical setting and home, and currently also virtual
- A cohort of children include complex learning and medical needs/ASD
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Dysphagia knowledge and experience is essential - including confidence with age 0-2
- Able to carry out assessment and therapy, including multi-disciplinary assessment
- Must be a car driver - not essential
