Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Divisional Director of Education to work full-time in Tower Hamlets.
The pay rate for this locum Divisional Director of Education job is £555 per day and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Ensure that education provision in Tower Hamlets is of high quality for all children and young people
- Manage the relationship between the Council and all schools and educational providers
- Ensure that the local strategy for school improvement is successful
- Lead responsibility for vulnerable children's education, including those with SEND
- Ensure the Local Authority's statutory duties with regard to compulsory education are met, whether directly or through commissioning arrangements
- Ensure that welfare and safeguarding standards are maintained
Requirements of the Divisional Director of Education:
- Degree or equivalent in social care or education
- Previous experience within a similar role
