Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a District Nurse to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in Bridgnorth, within the Interdisciplinary Team/Community Nursing Teams.

The pay rate for this locum District Nurse job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 5 x 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 08:00 am – 18:00 pm
  • Can be flexible on days & times
  • There is an expectation to work weekends; which will be agreed with the team once they commence

Duties:

  • Support other IDT teams across the trust

Requirements of the District Nurse:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Active NMC Registration
  • Be confident & Competent in the following skills: Venepuncture/Insulin & Tinzaparin administration/Catheterisation/Wound care & compression bandaging
  • An experience of syringe drivers and palliative care would be desirable however not essential
  • Have their own car & business insurance
