Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 5/6 or 7 Dietitian to work based in Southwark.
The pay rate for this locum Dietitian job is £26 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Work as part of a team of acute adult dietitians, providing excellent dietetic care to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Be responsible for a varied caseload that includes cardiac medicine, respiratory medicine, general surgery, and ITU step downs.
- Formulate and deliver individual dietetic treatment plans for patients based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of a wide range of dietetic treatments.
- Assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent, and have the capacity to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
- Manage clinical risk within own patient caseload with the support of more senior staff.
Requirements of the Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent within Nutrition and Dietetics.
- HCPC registered as a Dietitian.
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Dietitian.
- Knowledge of Dietetic within the NHS.
- Good IT skills.
