Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Gillingham for a Band 5 Acute Paediatrics Dietitian.
The pay rate for this locum Acute Paediatrics Dietitian job is £21 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Act as an autonomous Dietitian and contribute to the delivery and service improvement of the nutrition and dietetic service provided to Medway NHS Foundation Trust
- Be responsible for providing dietetic care for paediatric inpatients on the acute paediatric wards and outpatient clinics in an unsupervised capacity
- Take a leading role in carrying out specialist assessments, evidence-based treatment and management of patients who may present with complex and /or chronic health needs that require specialist support and advice
- Support the wider Dietetic team during periods of increased demand and play an active role in the supervision and learning of others, including student placements
Requirements of the Acute Paediatrics Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent within Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC registered as a Dietitian
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Dietitian
- Be recognised as an expert source of knowledge in the field of paediatrics, leading on development of clinical guidelines, resources and education packages
