Salary: £29,402 – £35,461 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
In the position of Dialysis Senior Staff Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, patient-focused care with individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Mentoring and supporting team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Administering safe haemodialysis treatments in line with patient prescriptions and care protocols.
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and with external organizations and hospital trusts.
• Promoting effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to ensure clarity and patient satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with clinical, governance, and regulatory standards, assisting with the implementation and review of best practices.
• Continuously developing clinical skills and knowledge to remain at the forefront of renal care.
• Demonstrating a commitment to evidence-based practice, assisting with ongoing improvements to patient care through evaluations and feedback.

Essential Requirements:
This position requires candidates to have prior dialysis/renal experience. Candidates without experience in renal nursing will not be considered for this role.

To be eligible for this position, you must:

• Be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Have renal nursing experience, particularly within haemodialysis. This is a mandatory requirement for the role – candidates without dialysis/renal experience will not be considered.
• Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and remain flexible in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Be a team player, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
• A lead by example attitude, promoting a positive work environment and motivating your team.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within the clinic environment.
