Sanctuary Social Care currently has a locum vacancy based in Blackpool for a Deputy Team Manager, within the Targeted Intervention Service. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive rate of £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and this role is a 3-month contract.
This service brings together teams who deliver support to children, young people and families including our services for young people with experience of care, our youth offending team, our Family Practitioners supporting young people with substance misuse issues or those at risk of poor sexual health outcomes as well as young people needing support with employment.
These teams will work closely with our Family Hubs delivering all age targeted services to children and their families and working alongside partners in a place-based model of delivery.
Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
- Experience in improving outcomes for children and young people.
- The ability to drive high quality practice.
- To lead a culture of strengths-based work with high ambitions
