Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Team Manager to work full-time within MASH based in Slough. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children Services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Deputy Team Manager job is £39 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Screening referrals
- Making threshold decisions
- Conducting enquiries and home visits
- Liaising with professionals
- Completing MASH assessments
- Managing out of hours visits and providing direction during crisis for children on a CP plan or in Court Proceedings
- Line managing and writing reports for ASYE social worker
- Front Door is the first port of call for all initial enquiries from anyone concerned about a child or for any emergencies. The Hub serves as the Multi-Agency Support Hub, traditionally what is called a referral and assessment team. This is where the referrals and key decisions take place and progressed to different hubs within the service.
- Supervise staff- Social workers and Family Support work
Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working as a Deputy Team Manager within social work
- Recent experience working within MASH
