Sanctuary Social Care currently has a locum vacancy based in Islington for a Deputy Team Manager to work within a Children in Need Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive rate of £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
- Considerable experience of assessing, prioritising and responding to referred risks; and incorporating multi disciplinary input to assessing need and formulating multi agency plans
- Experience in child protection, risk assessment and making plans to safeguard children, court work and provision of services to looked after children
