Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Practice Manager to fill a full-time role within Children's Locality Team based in Guernsey.
The pay rate for this locum Deputy Practice Manager job is £43 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Assist with providing effective leadership and supervision to the newly established frontline locality team of social care staff.
- Assist in the management of the effective provision of social work services provided by the locality team. This will include child in need, child protection, LAC, Court proceedings and CYCT work.
- Support the Practice Manager of the team in developing and sustaining resources whilst maintaining morale, flexibility and quality of service to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people.
- Deputise for the Practice Manager in the Practice Manager's absence.
Requirements of the Deputy Practice Manager:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential
